Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Campaign Dubbed 'Sensible And Safer Practices' Launched in Uganda

Collaboration with different LGBTIQQ, Women and HIV/TB Care organisations is a norm that has been around. When Nature Network, SWKPAAP, ROSCEA, MARPS In Uganda joined to form Advocacy Network Africa (AdNetA) the idea was to create platforms where planned health promotion could take place. Along the way, MARPS In Uganda asked WAVE (a youth led Social Support organisation) to work together on an SRH Campaign from 25th May 2020-08 June 2020. What constituted the planned health promotion was a rubric against which planned activities were outlined. The outline spanned 25th May 2020 to 08 June 2020. The aim of the campaign is to provide opportunities: 1. To access SRH knowledge in a format accessible by those who would like to conduct an SRH Activity for their audiences 2. ANNOUNCING A VIRTUAL COVID-19 CONFERENCE ON 10 – 11 JULY 2020 The International AIDS Society (IAS) will host a virtual COVID-19 Conference on breaking COVID-19 research, policy analysis and frontline experience on the final day of AIDS 2020: Virtual The COVID-19 pandemic represents an unprecedented global emergency that has now infected more than 3 million people worldwide and is already the most lethal new pandemic since the emergence of AIDS nearly 40 years ago.
